Join us for our Quarterly Image Competition.
The Quarterly Image Competition is a special event for Darkroomers. Guests can come and vote on images but only members can submit images. The competition is theme based and the theme is identified at the beginning of the quarter. The meetings are a social event with Hors d’oeuvres and drinks being served. Members and guests can walk around and take in the images and vote on the ones they like.
The subject for this quarter is “Calm”.
We will also be showing “Finding Vivian Maier”;
And Laurie Rubem from ViewBug will be stopping by with some cool prizes to giveway!
This meeting we will also be hanging images from our 500px and Scott Kelby photowalks…

Don’t miss their new and improved lecture to help guide us in the world of night photography, Les and Mary have years of experience photographing when most of us are asleep, Their photos are awe-inspiring… Learn to prepare yourself and your camera for shooting in the dark.
Join us for our Monthly Critique Night. Members bring in prints for critique. Those prints accepted by the Judge will hang for up to 2 months in our member gallery.

The dead know only one thing: it is better to be alive. Every year we celebrate the dead and “Dia De los Muertos”, this year, we celebrate in October… Details will be announced at the October 19th meeting
