If you don’t get enough day of the dead in Old Town, then we will be doing it once more in Mission San Luis Rey for “Dia de dos Muertos”… This will be a small but intimate crowd; carpooling is recommended please e-mail the event organizer if you are interested in carpooling.

Join us for our Monthly Critique Night. Members bring in prints for critique. Those prints accepted by the Judge will hang for up to 2 months in our member gallery.

Our judge for the month of November is San Diego City College Associate Professor of Photography, David King.

Join us for our Quarterly Image Competition.

The Quarterly Image Competition is a special event for Darkroomers. Guests can come and vote on images but only members can submit images. The competition is theme based and the theme is identified at the beginning of the quarter. The meetings are a social event with Hors d’oeuvres and drinks being served. Members and guests can walk around and take in the images and vote on the ones they like.

The theme for this quarter is “Warm” and we will be showing the documentary “Manufactured Landscapes”
