Join us for our Quarterly Image Competition.

The Quarterly Image Competition is a special event for Darkroomers. Guests can come and vote on images but only members can submit images. The competition is theme based and the theme is identified at the beginning of the quarter. The meetings are a social event with Hors d’oeuvres and drinks being served. Members and guests can walk around and take in the images and vote on the ones they like.

The theme for this quarter is “Railroad Cars”

Join us for an evening with legendary local San Diego Photographer Ev Yorobe as he guides us through his process of how to make beautiful Landscapes photos using a wide array of cameras and lenses including drones.

Ev will be talking about how to get that perfect shot from planning to post processing including what to look for in your local weather report.

Join us for our Monthly Critique Night. Members bring in prints for critique. Those prints accepted by the Judge will hang for up to 2 months in our member gallery.

Join us as local San Diego storm chaser, Lewis Surrey, shows us some of the most exciting images captured on the planet through the lens! Lewis will show some of his amazing work as a storm chasing photographer that will quite literally take you into the eye of the storm.
