Join us for our First Wednesday Monthly Meeting. We’ll have an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session with SCACC President, Roben Stern about Interclub Competitions. This meeting will be held via Zoom. Members will be sent information via email. If you’d like to attend as a guest, please email us at info@darkroomers.com so we can add you to the guest list.

Once again, we are photographing potholes around Hospitals Reef in La Jolla. Don’t forget to bring Wide Angle lenses, tripod, cable release, and filters to get silky smooth water at sunset. Arrive around 6 Sunset at 7pm; Parking is a challenge Dinner afterward at Mandarin House in Bird Rock

The meeting will start promptly at 7 pm, but we’ll open the building at 6 pm for setup and social hour. Join us for our Monthly Critique Night! Our judge for May will be Jennifer Wolf. On the third Wednesday of each month, members bring in prints for critique. Prints accepted by the Judge will hang for up to 2 months in the Photographic Arts Building gallery. In this talk, Stephen will discuss all the basics necessary to get started including what camera gear and lenses are recommended, how to plan an outing, how to think about composition, how to photograph in the field, and how to edit your images.
