Exhibitions
Each month, members hear constructive feedback on their printed images from a guest juror.
Accepted images hang in the gallery of the Photographic Arts Building.
Quarterly
Competition
Every quarter of the year comes with its own theme. Images must be captured during that quarter and are voted on by fellow members.
Entries earn points, and the leaders have their names engraved on trophies housed in the Photographic Arts Building.
Year-End
Competition
The year-end competition is held each January to celebrate the best images from the previous year.
A three-judge panel awards first, second, third, and honorable mention in each category. The Image of the Year is framed and displayed in the Photographic Arts Building for the following year.
Interclub
Competition
Interclub competitions put Darkroomers' images up against the work from other SCACC member clubs.
These images may also be submitted by SCACC to competitions run by the Photographic Society of America (PSA) for national recognition.
