The Future of Photo Planning with Wenjie Qiao

Great photographs often begin long before the shutter is pressed. Whether you’re planning a dramatic sunset, a perfectly aligned moonrise, or a Milky Way photograph, knowing where to be and when can make all the difference. Join Darkroomers as we welcome Wenjie Qiao, creator of the popular PlanIt photography planning app, for a look at the future of photo planning.

Wenjie will introduce PlanIt Earth, the next generation of PlanIt’s powerful planning tools. Building on the capabilities of PlanIt Pro, the new app uses realistic 3D terrain, satellite imagery, and a virtual viewfinder to help photographers visualize their compositions before arriving on location. Explore how to anticipate the position of the sun, moon, and Milky Way, evaluate lighting conditions, and plan precise alignments with landmarks and landscapes. Google Play
